  there is only one way to tackle the issue of failed prophecy as regards watchtower publications and their own public response to the failure of their predictions and pronouncements to come true.

  miller was wrong, there was no doubt about it.

  but, when the watchtower does it --it means just the opposite!

  i just wanted to revise my comment. that quotes was a little easy on the wts in his first radio interview from sept 2005. mr. quotes was great and very listener friendly. tho a little soft on a few issues. maybe because of the lawsuit. but it's a must listen for any jw or x jw that hasn't heard it before. and i can't wait for the radio interview from 2-11-06 to come out on the net. mr Quotes deserves all our thanks for his hard work and brass balls to take the wt on alone. we can all learn something from his stedfastness john

  No JWs in sight....what happened to them?

  i have been living in my new house since november.

  i have been home every weekend, saturday and sunday mornings.

  i live in a big city, in a densely housed area.. there has not been a single jw door-knocker this entire time!!!!

  i just moved a few weeks ago. and i'm, waiting for the dubs to stop by. as i'm home most sat and sun mornings. but at my last place for 6 years the dubs never stopped by once. and the hall was just 3 blocks away. i had to go stand at the front gate or go to the kingdom hall. just to get into a good arguement. of course they called the cops on me. twice. and when i went to the elders house with bible in hand he told me his community was gated as a no soliciting zone. and to leave before he called the police. as i left his door . i reminded him that he is a HYPOCRATE.

  Pioneer Sister is Even Confused about The Annointed...Now I'm Confused!

  ok, this time i wasn't snooping around but i was eavesdropping in a conversation the co was having with the freeloader pioneer sister who has been staying with us:

  apparently she was a bit confused as to what will happen during the 'new system" between her and her husband.

  this is where it gets confusing and i need help understanding this: (i could only get in a few tidbits of the convo here and there: ya'll don't know how hard it is to have your ear pressed to a door fro 30 minutes!

  I SEE NO PROBLEM IN THIS; the bible is clear that all false prophets. will be in hell. rev 20. and ezek. 14-16 says all followers of false prophets will get the same punishment as the prophet themselves. so if the bible is true, they both will have the pleasure of being tormented day and night FOREVER. IN THE LAKE OF FIRE. so let the sister know she has nothing to worry about. SHE WILL HAVE THE SAME MEASURE THAT HER HUBBY. GETS. JOHN

  I Talked To A Friend About His Feeling That JWs Are Right In "Some" Things

  this friend was a fellow elder with me.

  in the last few years he's successfully faded with his immediate family.

  however his mother who was never "strong in the truth" is still a "believer".

  the jw's don't have accurate knowledge of the bible . the have wt interpations of what the wt tells them the bible means. i have seen jw's basically call jesus a liar 1000's of times. if what the wt teaches goes against what jesus said. jn 6;50-54 is one place. john

  that's what she asked me as i was putting my laundry in my car at the laudromat.

  she was parked right next to me and she rolled down her window and had the awake and watchtower in her hands.

  i said i use to be one of jehovahs witnesses but because of the pedophile problems as well as the societies involvement in the un, i left.

  of course you planted a whole garden of seeds. i the time span of 2 minutes. you shut her down. and in the back of her mind she knows it. whenever a jw runs into someone that understands the working of the wts. most jw's melt . and run with their tail between their legs. she most likely learned more from you . in 2 minutes than in years of fs. good work. john

  some here have original copies going back to russell's time.

  would it make sense to have a resource library available where we pool what we have?

  i have quiet a lot...it's sitting in boxes in my daughter's garage in florida at the moment, but i can get it at some point.
